As part of our international growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven International Franchise Development & Partnerships Manager to join our team in Athens.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating Coffee Berry’s international expansion by identifying new investment opportunities, attracting qualified franchise partners and securing Master Franchise, Area Development and Multi-Unit agreements.

The position will also involve managing strategic relationships with existing international partners, supporting their commercial development and expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach and engage prospective international franchise investors, business groups and multi-unit operators.

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, industry events and strategic outreach.

• Manage the entire franchise sales cycle, from initial contact and investor qualification to commercial negotiations and agreement closing.

• Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of qualified international franchise opportunities.

• Present Coffee Berry’s franchise business model, investment proposition and development opportunities to potential partners.

• Evaluate potential franchisees based on financial capacity, operational capabilities and long-term development potential.

• Maintain and develop strategic commercial relationships with existing international franchise partners.

• Monitor partners’ development commitments and identify opportunities for additional store openings and market expansion.

• Coordinate with internal departments, including Operations, Finance, Legal, Training and Supply Chain, to ensure effective partner onboarding and ongoing collaboration.

• Represent Coffee Berry at international franchise exhibitions, investment forums and business meetings.

• Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, negotiations, signed agreements and international development performance.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in franchise development, international business development or franchise sales, including substantial hands-on experience in international franchise expansion.

• Proven track record in originating, negotiating and successfully closing franchise agreements.

• Experience in F&B, QSR, hospitality or international retail franchise networks will be strongly preferred.

• Established network of international investors, franchise operators or business development contacts.

• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of franchise economics, investment structures, royalties and development agreements.

• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

• Proactive, results-oriented personality with a strong business development and sales mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple international opportunities and strategic partnerships simultaneously.

• Excellent command of English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.

• Willingness to travel internationally.
